Deerfield Gun Club News and Notes

1. No member may include a "guest" to use the ranges. ALL persons who use the rifle, pistol, archery or trap houses, must have a current membership.

2. You must carry your membership card whenever using the facilities and you must show your card to anyone inquiring about your membership.

3. No member shall be under the influence of intoxicants or other drugs while using the ranges.

4. All members shall obey and abide by the by-laws of the Deerfield Rod & Gun Club.

5. Children and pets must be closely supervised. Neither are permitted on the ranges, below the clubhouse, or in the woods areas.

6. When using the pistol or rifle ranges, all targets must be placed in front of the berm. Shooting into the ground is strictly forbidden.

7. Irresponsible shooting, reckless conduct, shooting into signs or other gun club property, will result in expulsion from the club and/or criminal charges.

8. All used targets, expended rounds or casings, and other refuse, must be removed and placed in the designated garbage containers.

9. Use of rifle or pistol ranges is prohibited prior to 8am or after sundown.

10. No Fully Automatic Weapons

Any Member Found in violation of any club rule or regulation may be expelled from the organization and prohibited from use of the club or it's facilities.

Club Membership

As a new member just joining you Must attend the monthly meeting and complete a membership application, and be approved by the Board of Directors.

Meetings are held: First Monday of the month at 7:00PM. Come 15 minutes early to complete the application for membership.

Membership dues are;

Regular memberships $45.

Seniors above 65 ($20 off regular membership)

Juniors (12-18) $10.

Life Memberships $500 (Life member Jacket $100)

Membership's are good for the current Calendar year Jan. thru Dec.

Outdoor Ranges:

100 yard rifle range and 25 yard pistol range (shooting time 8:00AM till Sunset as listed in local paper)

NO Guest Shooters allowed.

You must be a member to use the ranges.

Archery:

25 yard outdoor range with backstop.

*The Deerfield Rod & Gun Clubhouse is open on Sundays from 10am to 6pm

* Just a reminder we do have a fourm for selling trading and other news that club members can use located here FOURM

* Memberships run from January 1st to December 31st

* Renewal memberships can be purchased at the club. New members must be approved at the monthly meeting.

* Open trap for non-members is available every Sunday Cost is $4.50/25 brids. A CERTIFIED PULLER must be available to open the trap houses.

* The Rifle / Pistol Ranges are closed for the 9 day deer hunting season. For additional closure dates a notice will be posted in the Clubhouse.
